We have thought about dedicating an opera to the Madonna for a long time, a very important figure for us and for our culture. The Madonna, with Jesus as a child playing with a frog, flowers in the garden, a piece of earth taken from Paradise. “Scegli il Paradiso” is written on the grass mower. The cut flowers regrow in her, in her cape like a continuous cycle in which nothing ends.
